BA Fine Art Level 6 Identity boxes

These boxes were created to evoke a sense of identity, via the things that we collect, find or are given.  All objects have a meaning or history behind them.  Chris created stories about the Tipton girls which related to their home life and to the interaction between their friends and the things they collected.  And also to the things that they loved, the things they hated and their aspirations.  The language used in the boxes was based on original Black Country dialect, which has links to genuine old English. The girls did not live long enough to fulfill their dreams.
